About Dhruv

Dhruv Naresh Rana has guided with Aquaterra since 2001, and his river experience reaches well beyond India. Alongside the Brahmaputra, the Tons and rivers across the country, he has run the Zambezi and paddled in Norway, Nepal and China. In the mountains he has completed Stok Kangri, Kang Yatse II, Auden's Col, Har Ki Dun, the Great Lakes of Kashmir, Dayara Bugyal and Chandrashila. He is a Wilderness First Responder and a Whitewater Rescue Instructor, holds an Advanced Mountaineering qualification, and is certified by the Uttarakhand government for kayaking and rafting. He runs Atali Ganga's in-house kayaking and rafting training.
