About Harendra
Known to guests as Harry Bisht, Harendra Singh Bisht has guided since 2010. His rivers are the Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Ganga, Zanskar, Mahakali, Brahmaputra, Subansiri and Kameng, and his expedition work covers the Great Lakes of Kashmir Trek, Parang La and Kang Yatse II in Ladakh. Sixteen years in, he has a broad base in expedition planning, river safety and wilderness leadership, and spends much of his time mentoring younger guides. He is certified in Wilderness First Aid, CPR and Swiftwater Rescue, and additionally carries epinephrine auto-injector training for guest allergy response.
