About Himanshu

Himanshu Negi has guided since 2020 and has spent an unusual share of that time on Ladakh water. Alongside the Ganga, Alaknanda, Bhagirathi and Tons, he has run the Zanskar, the Indus, the Nubra, the Shyok and the Suru, a set of rivers most Rishikesh-based guides never see. He has trekked widely across Uttarakhand, and his day-to-day focus is river safety and expedition management. He is certified in Wilderness First Aid, CPR and Swiftwater Rescue.
