About Sanjay

Sanjay Singh Rana has been guiding on the river since 2001, working the Ganga, Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Tons, Zanskar, Indus, Siang, Subansiri, Kameng, Pinder, and Mandakini. Beyond the river, he has trekked extensively across the Himalaya, including Chandrashila, Deoria Tal, Har Ki Dun, the Great Lakes of Kashmir, Tos Maidan, and Parang La. He is trained in Wilderness First Aid, CPR, Whitewater Rescue, and Swiftwater/Flood Rescue, and speaks Hindi, English, and Garhwali.
