Speed, water confidence, or the standards behind both.
Rafting is the signature Ganga run. Kayaking is gentler and closer to the water. The safety section is here because trust should not hide behind a booking button.
On the Ganga at Rishikesh, Atali Ganga runs two water activities: white-water rafting (24km, Marine Drive to NIM Beach, 4 to 5 hours, ages 14 to 65, ₹3,540 per person) and inflatable kayaking (a gentler 2 to 3 hour beach session, ages 7 and up, ₹1,062 per person). Guests wanting a longer, bigger day can run the extended Kaudiyala route instead, adding Daniel's Dip and The Wall, the river's one Grade IV rapid, above the standard stretch. Both rafting routes and kayaking run October through June, water activities pause July to September for monsoon safety.

I've rafted rivers from the Zambezi to the Brahmaputra, but running operations here means making sure every guest gets the same safety standard, wherever they're from.

Harendra Singh Bisht

Sixteen years guiding and trekking across the Himalaya taught me that the mountains and the river follow the same rule — never rush, never assume.

Vikas Rana

Nineteen years guiding the Ganga, and I still brief every trip like it's my first.

Harendra Singh Rana

I've guided the Ganga and the Tons both — the river teaches you patience long before it teaches you the line.

Sunita Chauhan

I was one of the first women river guides in India — years later, I still want every guest to leave a little braver than they arrived.

Vikas Negi

Standing on top of Kang Yatse taught me the same thing the river does — respect the mountain, respect the water, and it'll take care of you.

Vikas Rawat

I want every guest off the raft saying that was the safest adrenaline rush they’ve ever had.

Ankit Negi

A good guide reads the water and the guest at the same time — that's what eight years on the Ganga taught me.

Himanshu Negi

I've rafted rivers across the Himalaya, but the Ganga at Atali Ganga still feels like coming home.

Every rapid has a line through it — my job is to read it before you do, so the ride feels like adventure, not chance.
