CNT’s 8 gorgeous hotels in Rishikesh right by the Ganga
Featured on CNT’s 2013 Hot List when it opened, Atali Ganga is built on a hillside just outside Rishikesh, offering comfy cottages that overlook the Ganga valley. It is perfect for large groups or families with the range of adventure activities on offer. The hotel is by Aquaterra Adventures so guests can pick from river rafting, wall-climbing, abseiling, hiking, camping, high ropes, inflatable kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding. You can also start with the “Eskimo roll” in the pool before hitting the river. What's changed, and what hasn't
This CNT feature dates back to when Atali Ganga first opened, and pricing has naturally moved on since, current rates are always confirmed at booking rather than quoted here. What hasn't changed is the core of the place: hillside cottages above the Ganga, Aquaterra-run adventure activities, and buffet dining at the White Water Café.
Since this piece ran, the estate has grown to include The Foresterie, two private villas for larger groups and families who want more seclusion than the cottage format offers.
