Family vs Couple Itinerary at Atali Ganga

Planning a trip to Atali Ganga as a couple or a family group? Which accommodation and itinerary fits, with real pricing and age details.

Atali Ganga works for both, but the right setup — and the right itinerary — looks different depending on who is travelling.

Couples: choose the cottages

The 22 cottages are built for the livelier estate rhythm — walking between your room, the cafe, the pool, the spa and the activity areas is part of the experience. For a couple or smaller family, this format keeps you close to everything happening on the property.

A typical couple's day: a rafting run in the morning (₹3,540 per person, 4-5 hours, ages 14-65), lunch at the White Water Cafe, an afternoon at the Aum Therapy Rooms spa, and dinner by the river.

Families and groups: consider The Foresterie

The Foresterie is two private forest villas with 8 rooms total, built for shared living and dining space — the natural choice for a family gathering, retreat or celebration rather than a single couple. It offers the most private stay format on the estate, with a garden jacuzzi and complete seclusion within the forest.

A typical family day: kayaking in the morning (₹1,062 per person, open to ages 6 and up, gentler pace with individual guided turns over 2-3 hours) while younger kids and less water-confident adults join in together, then a shared lunch, free time at the pool, and private dining at The Foresterie in the evening.

Mixed-age groups: split the day

Families travelling with both young children and adventure-seeking adults often split activities rather than pick one: older members do the full rafting run while younger kids do kayaking, then everyone regroups for meals and downtime. Every guest, on both activities, wears a PFD at all times and is briefed by a trained guide before getting on the water, so there is no swimming-ability requirement either way.

Either way

Both accommodation formats sit inside the same Atali Ganga estate — the same hillside, the same Aquaterra-led adventure access, the same forest air. Pets are welcome in both. If you are still deciding, the team can help you choose based on group size and how private you want the stay to be.
