The Café offers glimpses of India’s wild rivers, off thundering rapids and artefacts from India’s hidden corners. One can sample mouth watering Indian and Continental cuisines at our 60 seater White Water Café, with options of both indoor and outdoor dining. Mutton Rogan Josh, kurkuri bhindi and cannelloni are favourite amongst our guests and of course our desserts kheer, banoffee pie and brownies.
Not only does it dish out great meals, but it’s piped music is something our guests love, playlists often in demand.
It’s a haven of delight, after a morning workout, a trail run, a hike, a riverside visit or a yoga session on the green deck. A long leisurely breakfast followed by a beverage from our coffee bar, and you’re all set for a productive day.
Chef Purshottam heads the culinary team at Atali. Before taking up the reins of the kitchen at Atali, Purshottam had been cooking delectable food in kitchens across hotels in Shimla and Gurgaon over a period of 18 years. With a vast repertoire across multiple cuisines, his famed ‘food for the soul’ style has been one of Atali’s trademark offerings since the day it opened.
Our property is an oasis surrounded by Reserved Forest, and it is a thorough privilege to be so close to nature. If you book, come with the purpose of living in the valley of India’s holiest life force, the Ganga, for the call of the barking deer, or the midnight roar of the leopard ; and for that lovely dull ache after a busy day in the great outdoors. 80% of the property is built on a hillside, and you will have to walk a series of steps to reach your cottage. If your group includes infants, small kids and infirm elders, do request for cottages closer to the Cafe´.
