Atali Ganga is situated in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand which is a seven hour road drive from New Delhi. The Activotel began its operations in April 2012, is a brain child of Vaibhav Kala who also owns and runs Aquaterra Adventures.
The first Indian Responsible Tourism Summit and Awards by Outlook Traveller and the World Responsible Tourism Awards were held in New Delhi on January 19, 2017 where Atali Ganga won the Silver Award.
